Joe Hughes sponsored riders, Greg Hancock and Tai Woffinden, finished 1st and 4th in the world after a thrilling final GP in Torun last night. Greg had the championship all but won going into the final round and won it outright by his third race, in true Greg style, winning his first two and securing second in his third. The outgoing World Champion Tai on the other hand had a second chance at grabbing third when Nikki Pedersen was deemed to be the cause of Krystof Kasperzak’s crash in the final and was disqualified. This left both Tai and Nikki on 121 points and forced a race off for third, with Nikki beating Tai in a close fought race.
Congratulations to both Greg and Tai, here’s to a great 2015.
