Chris ‘Bomber’ Harris started riding Grasstrack at the age of 6, moving onto Speedway when he was 15 and is now a regular in the Speedway Grand Prix series.
Since 1998, Chris has raced at all three levels of the British Speedway system, starting out in the Conference League for the St. Austell Gulls, then moving to the premier league in 1999 for the Exeter Falcons, then the Trelawny Tigers in 2000 winning the Premier League with both clubs. Having signed for the Coventry Bees in 2004, and winning the Elite League with them in the same year, meant Chris had won titles at all three levels of British Speedway aged just twenty-two.
He has won the British U16 Championship, represented Great Britain at U19, U21, and is currently in the Great Britain National Speedway Team.
Chris first qualified for the SGP series back in 2007 as a permanent wildcard, in only his fifth full SGP he won the British Grand Prix at Cardiff. Since then he has been a regular on the SGP scene, and is in the lineup for the 2015 campaign.
